Madison Purvis

Associate Family Law Attorney

​

Madison Purvis helps individuals and families navigate some of life’s most personal legal challenges. An associate attorney with the Law Office of Carolyn M. Bone, LLC, she focuses exclusively on family law, including divorce and separation, custody and visitation, child support, alimony and spousal support, and adult and child name changes. She joined the firm as a law clerk in 2025 and became an associate attorney in 2026.

Her commitment to family law took shape during law school through the Family Law Clinic at Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services and an externship with a boutique family law firm. As a volunteer with the S.C. Cass Elias McCarter Guardian ad Litem Program in Charleston and Dorchester Counties, Madison investigated cases and advocated for children in Family Court. She completed more than 100 hours of pro bono service while in law school.

Madison earned her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Virginia. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar.

Growing up in Virginia with three brothers taught Madison both determination and perspective: when to stand firm, how to care for others, and which battles matter most. She brings that balance to her practice, pairing strong advocacy with a practical assessment of the path that best serves each client and family.

Away from work, Madison enjoys cooking, beach days, time with family and friends, and the company of her dog, Luna.
